What is logical thinking? Simply put, it can be defined as the ability to understand and reason correctly. An innovative program for teaching logical thinking – created by Academy International – develops creativity and the ability to draw proper conclusions, enables problem-solving both independently and in a group, and provides opportunities to overcome barriers and difficult situations.
One of the tools developing logical thinking in Academy International institutions is chess. Why chess? Chess shapes imagination and teaches concentration. Each game requires both offensive and defensive actions, forcing the player to think intensively, plan, predict consequences – all of this allows practicing strategic thinking, which will be more or less consciously used in many situations outside the chessboard.
