At W Academy International, we appreciate the positive aspects that playing chess brings, which is an important element of our proprietary development and education program. From grade 4, students can develop their chess skills more broadly in additional classes.
Chess is a powerful stimulus for development and the desire to acquire knowledge. Even the first experience of castling on the board shows a beginner chess player that they could avoid many mistakes and even losing the game if they familiarized themselves with previously developed and well-known theoretical novelties and rules. This initially creates a desire to learn new combinations and traps, which then transforms into a need for in-depth study of chess theory.
The essence of chess absolutely does not correspond to random moves: for every thoughtless move, a chess player can incur a loss in the form of losing a good position of their pieces and losing the game.
Therefore, at Academy International we have created the Chess University. Students will get to know the fascinating world of games under the watchful eye of outstanding coaches.
Chess is not only a science, but also an engaging form of entertainment that promotes self-discipline and creativity!
